I typed out a fairly lengthy reply about king island and try to send it but it was wiped because in the (name:) box. I wrote
lad (vic metro).
I think the message was denied because of the brackets around (vic metro). Its a mistake that I will only make once but I wished it hadnt happened on such a lengthy message. I tried to get back and change the name but it wouldnt let me.The summarised message appeared after i lost the (vic metro). There's every chance I just stuffed up but it was very puzzling at the time

That's a real bugger of a problem. I didn't think the brackets should matter. This is the problem when you use programs written by other people. I gotta start learning perl programming so i can better understand how this thing works.

hi all,
you get the following error if you use brackets or any other funny symbols in the "name" field of your messages.
"Unable to post the message
Weird symbols or HTML tags are not allowed in the name field."
Sorry about this. I didn't know but it should be easy enough to avoid.
