Message: There are a couple of spots around stony point boat ramp.
We used to get our livies (small salmon) munched at high tide on the weed beds around Hanns inlet.
Also up passed the pier where the ferry departs, there are banks exposed at low tide. We've picked up a few jigging along the bank edges at high tide.
The reefy areas around tortise head have also produced in the past
Sorry I couldnt be more helpful but we dont do alot of squiding in westernport.

Message: Give it a go at Flinders jetty. It is a well known hot spot for big squids. Stony Point gives good squids from time to time.

Message: I caught a reasonable squid about a week ago at flinders pier. It grabbed hold of a bait (intended for fish not squid) and when it let go, i quickly cast out a jig and he came for it straight away.
