Subject: NSW South Coast Squid IP: Logged
Message: Hi,
I am a new comer to squid fishing and regularly go fishing on the south coast of NSW and was wondering if anyone knows good spots for Squid there. Are they about? Fishing from the rocks for squid, any good?
Cheers,
Guy

Message: I have been told that squid are occasionally taken from Tathra Wharf, Tathra (near Merimbula).
Haven't actually tried myself,
Good luck,

Message: Bateman's Bay and Broulee produce good quantities of squid from the rocks generally from Feb to June each year. No problem getting a feed or bait when they are on.
