I have been saving some calamari and nicked some of my neighbours for the New Year's Eve party tonight.
Sqillions of calamari rings, crumbed and ready for deep frying. Served with a sweet chilli sauce it will be a yummy way to start the New Year.
Have found a new spot just off the Tootgarook boat ramp. Fish around the bottom of the tide and calamari will visit you for dinner. I have been getting octopus lately. Must be the time of year.
