I have a friend who used to squid in Huntington Harbor and there are videos on youtube of people squidding there. Greenport is a traditional squidding place too.
This year, any harbor/ pier from Manhasset to Greenport on north shore have them, if you see people at night with lights by the dock, squids are there.
Forgot to bring my big lights the other night, I caught these with just my headlight.
