Hello everyone, I discovered a new fascination this summer. I asked a man on the pier what he was catching and he said "SQUID". I always thought that squid fishing was in the winter. It was 12 noon, in July and I watched him bring up a few squid with a squid jig. I got so excited that I went to SportCo, bought a squid jig and went squid fishing! When I hooked and brought up my first squid, I was fascinated! My life has never been the same! If I could be out there every day, I would! Is it just me or has any one else experienced this life changing hobby?

A similar thing happened to me the first time I went squid fishing! I could not believe I had been missing out for such a long time! What a shame i did not start squid fishing earlier!!! :rod:
