With baited jigs, eg baited with silver whiting, can you cast & retrieve them, like a yo zuri type jig, or do you just let them sit under a float?
what would be the best technique with them?
thanks, adam

I usually just sit them under a float. But turn to casting if its slow! Also if under a float cast yo zuris at the same time.
Saw a thing on the weekend. A guy had a heavy enough sinker to drag his float to the bottom. Had the sinker sit about a metre or two below the baited jig, and had the float a metre above - might try this next time.......

SA - the land of the bigger fish. The fish on the east, measure the least, but if you head west, you'll be bringing in the best!!
