Hi folks, I thought to let all know that I have just returned from a week at Darwin. I had some fishing time at Nightcliff jetty where there seemed to be plenty of squid though noone was reporting big catches. .
It seems most of the crew up there chase squid for bait and I did spoke to some very stoked kids at Mandurah who had used their fresh squid to catch Giant Trevally.
I'm still trying to locate squid grounds in East Gippsland, the local tackle shop reckons they dont come into the lake system. I shall endevour to persevere, cheers Tex.
