Green seemed to be the best color. Squid were only average size, didn't see any Jumbo.

Bummer man.... I live in mill creek and have tried edmonds probably 5 times over the last two years and its has consistantly SUCKED. I dont know whats going on out there in the ocean but something isn't right. I mean how does this go from a good fishery, expecting 15-20 JUMBO squid EVERY time you would make the trip to now just praying that when you ge there you dont have to stand there for 3 hours for 2 squid. I have had much MUCH better success in seattle this year.I ran by edmonds three times this year and its been dead every time. I wouldnt even waste my time stopping by edmonds until I here that it is consistant there for a few nights, which has been years from what I understand. I hear a good report from out there and then 5-10 bad ones from some good sources. Kinda like playing russian roulette with 5 shells in the revolver instead of just 1. Seattle has produced far better for me over the last couple years. Anyone go down to seacrest or seattle?

i think if you had a portable underwater speaker and played orca whale sounds.i think the harbor seals would go away .or would that scare the squid to.? i know it would scare the hell out of the seals.killer whales feed on harbor seals.what do you think will it work.what about it guy from mill creek or anyone elsewhen are they opening seal season? I hate those little buggers! LOL

I heard you're allowed to shoot them with paintball guns from what somebody said on another forum. You might want to give that a try maybe ;x

you guys think its LEGAL to harass wildlife for sportfishing? I dont know call WDFW, and ask a game warden what he thinks and if he would write you a ticket if he saw you shooting a paintball gun at seals. Ive learned many good things from our beloved game wardens by a simple phone call! Either way I LOVE the idea but just dont see how it could be legal to harass any wildlife. Especially if they are protected.
