1) Any information about squidding in Connecticut from the shoreline or beach entry surf would be greatly appreciated.
2) Also, best way to remove squid from jig.

No clue where in CT.
Best way to un-hook a squid is to grab the body of the lure over the bucket and flip it upside down. The squid will fall right off as the hooks are barb-less.

i would look anywhere from mystic to the pawcutuck/westerly line. obv on the water....
