Continuing our very popular series of Rigging and Technique Night's, Bluewater Morley will be running an Egi Night, Thursday 28th June, starting at 6.30pm. The night will be sponsored by Ika Squid Jigs, and will cover techniques for both Land Based Egi, as well as fishing from boats. As usual the cost will be $10.00, and will include drinks and nibblies. All those that attend will receive a free Ika Squid Jig, and will be eligeable to win some great door prizes.

Topics for the Night will include:

Use of Egi rods and why.
How to fish egi properly, both LB and from a boat, in the Ocean or River.
Colour and size selection for day and night.
Micro egi techniques.
Switch baiting techniques.
Egi accessories.
Ika Jime demonstrations and the humane way to despatch a squid.
Recipes and demos on how to clean and prepare squid.

I may even cook up some chilli and garlic squid with onions on the night, for demo purposes only, obviously, lol. Mmmmmm Chilli and Garlic Squid (insert Homer Simpson style drooling here).

Door Prizes, specials, and other sponsors will be announced closer to the night, but I do recommend that you book soonish, as these nights are always very popular.

So come on down and pick up some tips before the Calamari Classic and while you are here, check out one of the largest range of "in store" and stocked, Egi jigs in Australia.

I look forward to seeing you all there.
