go to the rail road pier in greenport they are slammin them right now i was there last night and me and my friend did abourt 70 pounds worth but the right side of the pier is the spot about 50 feet from the first lampost......good luck gettin that spot ya have to speak korean lol...just kiddin NOT.............they are swarming right about now .......good luck

Yes, I recently heard about that location, and heard they have been doing very well.  Hopefully the run will last a couple more weeks..

i am going to visit a friend in Port Jefferson, Long Island next weekend. I will go fishing as much as I can. So, can anyone one give me a detail direction of how to find the rail road pier in greenport ? Where can I park? what time is the best time?

Is anyone catching squid on long island? I heard they were in the bay inbetween massapequa and merrick last week.  I went last night and didnt see any.  Does anyone know of long island party boats going for them?  Is greenport docks still open to the public?

• Last night(7/13 fri.) We went out again for squid..
  
  around 40 people aboard on 'Fish tail' charter boat.
  
  Every body has more than half bucket..
  
  40 - 100 each person.
  
  At least 2800 ..squid we catched.
