:) sorry i have not included photos because i have not got a digital camera!

Ok here it is....... :geek

WHAT YOU NEED

 Homemade mould of a float

 Expanding foam

 Plastic tube

STEP 1 First make a hollow mould in the shape of a float

Presentation1.gif

STEP 2 Then get a can of expanding foam from a hardware store for around $5 dollars. Then insert the plastic tube into the middle of the mould, then fill the mould One-quarter. Leave to expand

STEP 3 Remove from the mould and remove any excess foam from the float with a sharp knife. Paint if desired.

*** Also: to make a weighted float just push a “bean” sinker in to the middle of the foam whilst WET.

What a good idea, thanks for that. :)
Any idea how many floats you can make out of 1 can of foam?
Also how do they compare to commercially available floats (aside from being cheaper)?
Cheers

:) thanx jazman well i haven't tryed a whole can of foam but i guess it decides on what size mould you use and normal size floats i think you could get about 30 floats or so!

:) if you try it please submit a photo or tell us how it went please!

THANX

SA - the land of the bigger fish. The fish on the east, measure the least, but if you head west, you'll be bringing in the best!!
