Warrenty was for only one year and I'd had it for over 2 and registered it with Daiwa so I had to buy a new tip. The worst thing is, I managed to snap the tip off that in the car on my next trip. Was still able to get a couple with it though so I'm just going to clean it up and use it as a short boat rod or autumn rod.
