Silver is interesting, I have also recently seen jigs with oversized eyes, it would be interesting to do a comparison to see if it adds anything.
Also I wonder if anyone knows why pink is such a winner with the squid? surely colours are not the same in the water? I would have thought orange would be the winning colour, given that prawns are roughly orange and not pink. Also I have heard that red is the first colour to disappear in the water, so if this theory is followed, pink should be the next closest colour to go.
Maybe it is not the colour but the action of the jig?....
