Repairing Of Jigs
#1
Hey Ive been happily fishing this week after a friend brought some jigs from japan. (the brand is tactics enjoy and they were only 150yen a piece) Anyway issue i have is that the squid seem to be making a right pigs mess of the jigs. Ive been repairing them with fly tying varnish and thread and they still seem to work. But i was interested to know if anyone else had any other methods of repairing them and giving the jigs a new lease of life.

Nice work. Is that a wire core running through a ballpoint pen?? hahah Anyway I am sure it will work fine.

As for the repairs, I think you could maybe use a cloth adhesive bandage! though it won't be the same colour unless you use waterproof ink markers <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />

Do you have a link to the Tactics Enjoy website? I tried to have a look but no luck so far.

haha yeah thats pretty much it although with hindsight i wished i had used a bigger biro as its abit too short. Theres nothing on the packaging to suggest a website link. But theres some pics so if anyone recognises the brand or has seen it as another brand just repackaged then it might help. Also my friend told me he got them in the bargain bin of joshuya in tokyo.
