Squid, Calamari Squid, And Real Calamari
#1
Squid: $2.50

calamari squid $12.50

real Calamari $22.50

I copied and pasted the above names and prices from one of the threads in the forums.

Can someone please explain the difference between the 3 ?

I live in Connecticut, USA., and my wife and I just started catching squid last year. So I'm trying to learn all I can about the different types of squid and such..

I've always loved fried calamari, and also like it in many types of dishes. My wife, being a Filipina, cooks squid in a number of different ways, and I enjoy them all..

I'm not even sure of what kind of squid we catch in RI. USA....But it's very good to eat.....I also use some of my catch for bait, when I go Fluke Fishing, Strippers, and Tuna Fishing...

I must add, I have winter cabin fever for sure...LOL

I've spent about 4 hours straight now, reading post and watching videos here on the site. Enjoying myself greatly and wishing April was here already....It's 0 F here today, with winds of 25 mph, making it feel like -25F...... <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I'm really happy I found this great site and want to thank all who make it happen.....
