Aggressive Cuttlefish!
#1
just wondering if anybody has fallen victim to a disgruntled cuttlefish. one night last winter I picked up a small cuttlefish in the palm of my hand and the bar-steward nipped a chunk out of my ring finger, there was blood all over the place! my 'neighbours' gave me that 'poor foreigner' look & told me to wash my hand in sea water, which I did. I then had to go into a nearby bar & ask for a band-aid, when I told 'em I'd been bitten by a 'choco' they all fell apart laughing. I went back to the pier to continue fishing but had lost my 'spot'. an night I'll never ever forget!!

certainly stung more! good disinfectant though. mind you, european cuttlefish are quite innocent chaps, no dastardly venom like some of their tropical cousins(octopus)...
