Florida - Miami To Boca Raton South Florida
#1
I am a bigtime swordfisherman in south florida fishing form Miami north to Boca Raton. The water is about 80 degrees now and I have seen some squid on the surface but most seem to be deeper. We are fishing depths from 1600ft to 1100ft some flat bottom and some mountains

What temp and depth do you think I should be looking for to catch these squid?

Do you think the sea conditions would effect the depth the squid?

Also what effect does the moon have on squid?

I think we have seen some small giants comming up on our squids they were about 3' in legnth and when they grabbed the squid we were using for sword bait they lit up inside their bodies with a white light. the color of the squid was like a maroon red to a dark red realy cool lookin. I want to use them for sword bait. also do the squid have a color of light they realy are attracted to. white or green or UV.

thanks, SquidHunter
