Newbie saying hello
#1
Hi guys, I have just joined up and wanetd to say hello.

Going out for my first squid session tonight around sydney.

Any do's or dont's hints and tips would help. I thought the tides looked reasonable for a night session land base middle north harbour.

Taronga zoo wharf ( off to the side as we cant fish off the wharf which has a bucket load of CTV on it!!!) and around the corner at cliftan gardens off the wharf but casting back to the shore which seemed to work well, couldn't really cast out to the harbour due the bream and mulloway fisho's crowding. Going out again on friday for a just on dark and early run out session. I think a group site session on a weekend would be nice to share some knowledge and fun maybe a squid BBQ or Jewie run afterwards off a beech (syd local).

How do we post pics on this site, I was unable to shink the file size down. Is photo bucket alright for a URL link????

Went out last night with a mate. I couldn't beleive it, I didn't catch anything but my mate nailed 4 even using the same jig??? I think luck does play alot in squidding. Going to to get some different style jigs today and wait for the foul weather to pass to try another spot.
