New to Squidding in the PacNW Area
#1
Hi! I live in the Seattle area, and one of my goals this winter is to learn how to fish for squid! A friend of mine (who is deployed in the military unfortunately) had planned to teach me how to squid off a pier, but he's no longer able to do so.

I've got a few lures, and would really love to find someone who would be willing to show me the ropes. I've done trout / salmon / bass / sturgeon fishing - but never squid! If there is anyone in the area who would be willing to help a girl out, I'd really appreciate it! Any hints or tips on equipment and areas to hit up would be really helpful too - in case I just go wing it on my own.
