Went to Portsea Pier this morning (Wednesday) an hour before the high tide. The weather was great and there was good squid activity - I started getting into them from the word "Go". Practically everyone fishing for squid there had hookups. I went home at 2 p.m. with 8 squids, including a 2 and a half kilo specimen.
