Hi! My name is Glen and welcome to my website! I live in Melbourne which is the second largest city in Australia. I am a keen recreational fisherman and also have an interest in fishing tackle manufacturing, fisheries research and fisheries management. I developed a keen interest in squid fishing around about the time I started this website (in October 2000). I also enjoy other types of fishing including fly fishing and surf fishing.

Squidfish.net is the largest squid fishing website in the world and receives approx 30,000 unique visitors per month. The site deals with all aspects of squid fishing including recreational squid fishing, commercial squid fishing, squid processing, fisheries management, seafood products and squid fisheries research.
