Haha. Been busy with salmon too! BUT, jigging for pinks at dash pt, caught a couple squid on my salmon jig! They are also catching random squid at les Davis. Not very many across the bridge in the harbor, but it's still very early anyway. Have fun and good luck

Is the season really starting this week? I wonder if there will be less squid due to the swarm of humpies this year. There were so many that even I (noob salmon fisherman) got two for the first time ever and first time on a river).
Stopped by Edmonds this past saturday. There was only one kid and myself jigging for squids but nobody else. Thinking of getting a generator soon.
Might try to go this weekend with a friend who has a battery inverter.

With a revised number of pinks for Puget Sound (14 million is being rumored), will we actually hage a squid season this year? :p can't wait to hit it right after pinkies! Got 14 pieces of squid in downtown Seattle a week ago. Slow night! Winter squid should be showing around Edmonds ANYTIME now!

Went to Edmonds the night before last and got about 10 pieces slow night. 1 summer squid but 9 others were winter returners. just cooked them up. YUM!

Avoided getting skunked by pulling a tiny one on friday night lol. Was @ edmonds fri & sat from about 9-12pm, tide going low.
Talked to someone who was there last last friday from about 7pm and he said he got 50!

I went out to Shilshole, and 58 in Seattle. not to much happening lots of Summer Squid still hanging around. and one was caught VERY SMALL. Probably out if its spawn sac already or it was bullied from other squids.

You should go Saturday! Haha, I'd be there Friday (that's my usual day), but I gotta get up at 5 for the river cleanup.
