Most of the private boats were back in by 9, the weather is lousy and the bite is slow- east wind is a killer
The party and charters will all be in later so I'll post an update then.
Pray for SW

Please keep us posted. I think Helen-H cancel squid trips last couple days.
Last night was miserable in Newport when it started drizzling after mid-night. Lucky I packed all my gear right before mid-night because there was no bite.

The smaller charters are going.
I'm going tomorrow.
Saw some beautiful tautog come off the Sea Queen Friday and a couple small sea bass too
Next weeks weather looks a whole lot brighter. The fishing will definitely take off in the next few days.

Hmmm, must be draggers I don't know, because out of the 4 draggers that are in Hyannis, Carol R- American Pride, Alosa and Busty- none of them are going. Unless of course you meant another harbor?
This is the worst squid run we've had since 2002 when I only caught 350 #'s, usually I am good for around 5,000#'s for the run, on average.
This weather that we have coming is only going to make things even worse.

and see if these 2 boats are at the dock or not, in the AM. If these 2 boats are out- there's fish, if they are in, the weather is really bad , or there is lousy fishing.
