Hi everyone,
I was interested by the attached photo of some shimano squid fishing tools.
I guess the metal tools are used to kill squid but I am only guessing.
I guess the brush is used to clean ink or slime off squid jigs. I think this would be very useful. Often the squid ink is very gluggy and hard to remove from the squid jig hooks. I guess an old tooth brush would work just as well.

guess your spot on about the brush as i use an old tooth brush to clean weed and gunk of the barbs on my jigs saves the fingers from a lot of nicks and jabs pedro

Thats interesting - i have always thought that maybe squid might shy away if there is excess gunk left on a jag from the previous squid - may need to add a toothbrush to my tackle box.........
SA - the land of the bigger fish. The fish on the east, measure the least, but if you head west, you'll be bringing in the best!!
