hello,
i am in the sea of cortez right now. i have email access for the rest of the day. if anyone can send me info on things like: what size are squid when they spawn, does it vary alot? do males and females die after spawning? what is the spawning process? do they lay eggs and attach to surfaces below the water like market squid do? we have been seeing beaches full of dead squid, all about two feet long. what is going on? saw a live one in the shallows at low tide on isla angel de la guarda. it moved off on on its own after a bit.
any info appreciated,
