Hi all, Im interested in learning more about fishing for squid, Im going to try land based around Port Stephens. Ive read that they are around all year, but was thinking that there must be a peak season, where there would be more around and easier to catch. Also about the jigs, Im guess like most things you get what you pay for. But is it worth having a selection of the cheap ones on hand, or not to even bother with them? And to be honest any other tip would be much appreciated, as all fishing is new to me. Thanks and hopefully I can share some success stories later.
